Where/What types of surfaces can these brackets be mounted to?

Simple Slide brackets use Command® products and will stick to painted, stained or varnished wood, glass, tile, painted cinder block, plaster, metal, and painted wallboard. Paint should be fully cured (check paint can for manufacturer’s cure time) before using Command Products. We recommend waiting a week before use on fresh paint. Also, alcohol may remove or dull the surface of fresh paint.

Command® products should not be placed on brick as they are intended for mostly smooth surfaces such as those listed above. However, they will stick to painted, smooth cinder block (the type found inside many school and office buildings). Wallpaper is also not recommended for the Command products to be placed onto as it is too delicate and can tear when adhesives are applied.
